The dragon lantern project is a project we completed in Global Village, Dubai, UAE. This light dragon with Chinese characteristics is one of the most important iconic installations of GV. To Delivery this project successfully, the whole team worked from Primary Design, Production and Delivery and final Onsite installation, and successfully matched up with the 16th Oct 2024 Opening of Global Village.
The project is located in Dubai Global Village, the client saw our previous project in Guangzhou Yuexiu Park and wanted to replace the dragon boat in the center of the lake with our design.
After confirming the basic size information and customer’s requirements, we provide a detailed design plan that includes the following elements
1: Modeling and rendering (day and night) to confirm the overall appearance
2: Production of motion video – daytime effect and night time effect
3: Production of CAD drawings (including foundations, material descriptions, structural dimensions, production processes, circuits and lighting)
